We found two more pieces in our climate controlled storage facility. Wow, this is a really unusual part! It's a VERY LARGE rectifier diode. It is marked SR1625, and also has a diode symbol on the red part. We do not have any data for it, and could find little information on similar parts.

Similar sized parts had ratings of 300 and 450 amps! This item appears used, as their is a depression on one side of the top connector, and it has dings and marks. As shown in the second photo, we hooked it up to a power supply, and ran 5.3 amps through it (0.7 voltage drop across it), for several minutes. It just laughed at us, and didn't even feel warm!
